Buddy and I were scrolling Facebook this week when an ad for a “free seminar” caught my eye. It was a recorded sales pitch running every 15 minutes — selling specialized AIs for $2,997.
Here’s the catch: what they were selling is essentially free. ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini already do everything that pitch promised — and you can use them today for nothing.
The chat was full of “wildly enthusiastic” people with no questions, no skepticism. That’s not a real audience. That’s bots and paid shills.
The price was hidden until the very end. The “limited time” clock was ticking. Classic grift.
